Spent today editing

So it may seem that I have a pretty boring life. Well that is true. Even though I am preparing for the most important day of my life, my wedding day, I am busy spending my free time watching the x-files and editing. I do have to say though, I hate editing my own stuff. However, it is essential that I do so before I let anyone else edit it. It is a very boring and drawn out process for me, though, because I always revise one chapter at least six times. I am a bit of a perfectionist. I am not sure if that is a good thing, because that means I will have a well written story. Or if that is a bad thing, because that means I will never finish my long labored novel. I guess we will see.

Amanda Hocking is a self publishing hero in my eyes. Not only are her books unbelievably good, but she can make a career out of something she likes to do. I hope that one day I can make a career out of my noveling. Even if it just pays the bills, I will be okay with that.
